Art comes in boundless forms. Art can be represented as paintings, sculptures, photographs, graffiti, music, landscaping, and many more. For Lynyrd Paras, his fixed-gear bike is a form of art.
A painter and a sculptor, Lynyrd's art has transformed from angry artwork to more calm and meaningful pieces. His moving-out from the hustle and bustle of Pandacan to the small city of Biñan has changed his outlook in life to a lighter and more positive way. This also led him to quit smoking and get himself a fixed-gear bike to go around the city with; to enjoy the view, take quick breaks from the toxic fumes of paint, and clear his head from all anxiety.
Lynyrd's build is an expression of himself. The vibrant color of the Dosnoventa Houston and the components flow into one artform, like a scultpture. He has built it up with parts that he meticulously chose even before the frame arrived from Spain.
"I see the frame as art pieces. I would like to be able to collect all Dosnoventa frames in their flagship color and display them as art pieces at home, if given the chance.", says Lynyrd.
