Adventure cycling has recently been gaining traction and more and more people are getting into bike touring. One of the more popular destinations locally is Benguet and the Mountain Province, which at some point will require the rider to be on their lightest gear possible.
For geared riders, especially those running with road bike groupsets, the gear range is only limited up to 32T on their rear derailleur. To be able to outfit their bikes to cope with the steep climbs, a derailleur hanger extender is the most efficient and cost-effective component needed for them to be able to put a wider range of gears.
The RDHL20 is Ridea's answer to this demand. Unlike any other derailleur hanger extenders, the RDHL20 is fully adjustable. With a minimum extension of 20mm and configurable up to 30mm, the newest addition to the Ridea Integrating Components family definitely covers a wider range of gearing for all riders. With the 4 different configurations, the short-cage derailleurs can be outfitted with up to 42T and mid-cage derailleurs up to 46T at its maximum extension.
The Ridea RDHL20, along with other Ridea components, are now available at Built Cycles.
